Ivan S. Salgo, M.D., M.S., M.B.A. is Vice President, Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP). He is responsible for organizing, generating, and communicating evidence on the processes of Sterilization and Disinfection. He is keenly interested in providing a holistic picture on fortifying the need understanding and preventing Hospital Associated Infection and elevating the standard of care. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University. He received his M.D. degree with Distinction in Research from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.

As a Certified Surgical Technologist who became a Certified First Assistant before falling in love with Sterile Processing, Jhmeid has been recognized as an expert in Surgical Services operations, he is a recognized speaker, who has spoken in over twenty-seven states, and he was written several published articles. He is also an 8-time member of the HSPA Certification exam review and test creation SME group. As an expert in Surgical Assisting, Surgical Technology, and Sterile Processing, he has implemented expertise as the Director of Surgical Services Support, Lead Surgical Assistant, Ambulatory Surgery Coordinator, Surgical Technology Program Manager, Educator for Surgical Technician Course, and a Surgical Services Leading Petty Officer in the US Navy. With over 30 years of experience in Surgical Services and as a current voting member for 8 ANSI/AAMI standards committees, Jhmeid demonstrates the ability to educate, standardize and implement process improvement plans in challenging surgical environments. His proven evidence-based leadership approach has empowered and united surgical and non-surgical departments while working with a diverse range of personalities and was designated as the Georgia Society of Healthcare Materials Management 2017 Supply Chain Executive of the Year.
Alex Hilliker is ChemDAQ’s Executive Vice President, leading efforts to grow the Company’s Instrument Division, expand partnerships, and increase global brand recognition in the markets ChemDAQ serves. Known for his ability to build dynamic business relationships across organizations, Alex focuses on elevating ChemDAQ’s mission and values in the United States and across the world. He is passionate about employee safety and educating teams on the potential dangers of overexposure to toxic chemicals. Previously, Alex served as a Manager with a Big Four consulting firm's public sector practice, supporting clients at the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Defense, and Homeland Security. Alex earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration from The George Washington University and a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
